01 — Origin

One mountain range.
One supply chain.

Altai shilajit forms in the rock crevices of southern Siberia, where altitude and a short season limit how much anyone can take out in a year. We work with a single collection network on protected land, so every kilo traces back to the same region, the same purification method and the same lab.

  • Protected landCollected under permit from designated zones in the Altai Republic, not open-access commodity sourcing.

  • Hand-collectedRaw exudate is chipped from rock faces between 2,400 and 3,500 metres during a short summer window.

  • Purified in-regionWater extraction and filtration to remove rock, plant matter and grit — no solvents, no fillers, no added excipients.

  • One chain of custodySame source, same process, lot after lot. Batch consistency is the reason formulators stay.

02 — Formats

Three ways to buy the same material.

Every format comes off the same purified resin. Which one you want depends on whether you are formulating, filling, or selling it as-is.

TABLETTwo black compressed shilajit resin tablets

Tablets

Ready to sell

Pure compressed resin — pre-dosed, no scooping, no mess. Swallow whole or dissolve in warm water like traditional resin. The easiest version of shilajit to put in a customer's hands, and the one that survives contact with real consumers.

RESINThick black shilajit resin in an open jar

Resin

Traditional form

The format the category was built on. Thick, tar-black, dissolves into warm water or milk. Still the most sought-after presentation for premium brands and the clearest signal of authenticity on a shelf.

POWDERFine dark shilajit powder in a white dish

The ingredient version. Blends into capsules, stick packs, gummies, drink mixes and multi-ingredient stacks. Free-flowing, consistent, and compressible if you are running your own tablet line.

03 — Why this material

Most shilajit on the market
cannot answer these questions.

Shilajit is one of the easiest ingredients in the category to fake. It is dark, it is sticky, and a buyer cannot tell adulterated material from the real thing by looking at it. So the only honest way to compare suppliers is to compare what they can document. Here is what to ask anyone — including us.

Question to askThis materialCommodity supply
Where exactly is it from? Named region — Altai Mountains, southern Siberia "Himalayan" or "Asia" with no region named
Who collects it? One collection network, permitted protected land Aggregated from open-access traders
Can you trace a lot back? Same source and process every run Broker to broker; origin lost in the chain
Heavy metals — actual numbers? Pb, As, Cd, Hg measured per lot, well under USP <232> "Tested" claimed; certificate not lot-specific
Fulvic and humic — measured how? 60% fulvic / 14% humic, method stated on the CoA Round numbers, no method, no lab named
Which lab, what accreditation? ISO/IEC 17025-accredited, third party In-house or unnamed lab
Is it cut with anything? No fillers, no excipients, no added humic powder Commonly extended with humic powder, clay or ash
Microbial panel? APC, yeast & mould, coliforms / E. coli per lot Rarely supplied unless demanded
Documentation on request? CoA, SDS, authorisation letters, export papers CoA only, often reused across lots
Batch-to-batch consistency? Same collection zone, same purification, every run Varies with whichever supply was cheapest
Why price alone is a bad signal

Cheap shilajit is cheap for a reason, and it is usually one of three: it was extended with humic powder or clay to increase yield, it came from unrestricted land where collection pressure and contamination are higher, or it was never lot-tested at all. Any of those costs you more than you saved the first time a retailer, a marketplace or a state AG asks for the paperwork. Ask for a lot-specific certificate before you compare price per kilo — if a supplier cannot produce one, the price is not the number you think it is.

04 — Specification & testing

Every lot tested.
Every lot documented.

Material is tested at an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory before release. Certificates ship with the goods — we do not ask buyers to take the specification on faith.

We do not sit on finished inventory. Every order is produced and packed to your specification, then shipped — which is why the packaging, the foil and the jar are yours to decide rather than whatever happened to be on a shelf.
